Heiko de Boer is the new President of LVMI-Europe

Nearly 25 years ago Ms. Godart-van der Kroon founded LVMI-Europe and served all that time as President of the institute. Under her leadership, LVMI-Europe has developed into an established Brussels-based organization with activities like events, lectures, dinner debates, economic research, and thought leadership, supported by a substantial membership base.

At the June 2026 General Assembly, Ms. Godart-van der Kroon handed over the Presidency of LVMI-Europe to Mr. Heiko de Boer who accepted with great pleasure and motivation. The new leadership team is well positioned to build further on LVMI-Europe’s past successes. We plan already new upcoming activities for members that will include a series of Austrian School of Economics lectures, quarterly economic reviews, and a new book club initiative.

LVMI-Europe will continue to promote free-market economics and contribute from that perspective to a competent, competitive, and creative Europe that continues to prosper.

We are also very pleased to announce that Ms. Godart-van der Kroon has been nominated as Honorary President and will remain actively involved in the institute. We express our great and profound gratitude for her relentless effort in the last 25 years that resulted in all the successes of the Institute.
